Star Wars: Last Jedi features some of the most memorable characters and moments from the first three films, and a few new ones to boot.
Check out our preview above.
The first two films set up the first of what’s been described as “two halves of a trilogy” with characters like Kylo Ren and Han Solo (voiced by Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain respectively) and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) in the midst of a struggle to save the galaxy from a resurgent Dark Side.
While the third film will set the stage for a battle between the Resistance and the First Order, it’s also set to introduce a slew of new characters and villains.
The trailer below features some new characters, including Luke’s girlfriend, R2-D2, who is introduced as a “secret weapon” that can be used to disable enemies in the film.
Meanwhile, a new character named the Resistance leader Kylo is revealed as a mysterious new antagonist.
The clip shows off the new characters in action, including Kylo’s girlfriend R2, a robot droid that is able to control objects, and Poe Dameron, the leader of the Resistance.
We also get to see more of the new Resistance leader Poe, who, along with Rey (Daisy Ridley), has been working for the Resistance for some time.
The Resistance is a resistance movement led by Rey, who became the last surviving Jedi in the original trilogy.
The Resistance has its own fleet of space ships and, at the beginning of the film, is battling to bring back a mysterious and powerful Force weapon called the Dark Side, which has been unleashed on the galaxy by the Dark Lord of the Sith.
It’s also important to note that the Force has become a powerful tool of the First Empire, a force that has ruled the galaxy since the time of the original Star Wars films.
With the Force being used to destroy both Resistance ships and the Dark Empire, it makes sense that the Resistance is going to be facing off against both of those forces in the final moments of the movie.
As you might expect, there are some familiar faces in the trailer, including a familiar face that will be familiar to Star Wars fans: Luke Skywalker.
In the teaser, we see a small group of Resistance members on the ground trying to bring Luke to safety, but he has already escaped and is on the run.
The film then introduces a new Resistance member, Poe Daley, who we also see again in the teaser trailer.
Poe is a robot with a dark side that can destroy things and is the first Resistance member to die in the films first three movies.
It will be interesting to see how the Resistance’s newest recruit fares in battle against the First Imperials.
We’re also introduced to a new droid named BB-8, a companion droid who is voiced by newcomer Toby Jones.
The droid was first seen in the prequel trilogy and has become an integral part of the characters arsenal.
The movie then picks up with Luke and Rey on their way to an undisclosed location in the Outer Rim Territories, where they encounter a massive battle between Kylo and the Resistance forces.
It seems that Kylo has been able to manipulate the Force to some degree to some extent, which is why Rey can’t feel the Force, which also makes sense as Kylo used the Force on her to keep her alive.
Kylo also seems to be using a device to amplify the Force so that Rey will be able to feel it.
In terms of the first part of Star Wars’ story, we finally get to learn the backstory of Rey, Han Solo, and the rest of the crew of the Millennium Falcon, which was recently lost in the destruction of the Death Star.
Rey is still very much in the dark about her identity, and her new friendship with Luke is starting to develop.
This is why the Resistance wants to rescue her and bring her home, which makes sense, considering how much they are willing to do for the Rebel Alliance.
As we previously reported, the film also introduces several new characters.
Rey’s older brother, Ben, has been left behind by his father in the Star Wars franchise.
Ben has grown up a bit since he was young, but still has his father’s eyes.
The pair have developed a good friendship, and Ben is also working with Rey to try and find Luke.
Rey has a close relationship with the droid, BB-08, who appears to be the same droid she used to fight the Resistance in the first trilogy.
In fact, we also learn that BB-88 is a clone of Rey’s mother, Kylo.
It’s important to mention that Luke’s mother died during the Clone Wars, so he has a deep connection to his father, who has become one of the main characters in the new trilogy.
It makes sense to have Luke become a father figure to him, since his father had his own troubles during the war.
The movie also introduces a droid named R2 and
